GHFP fellows are employees of the Public Health Institute, www.phi.org, a non-profit health research organization located in Oakland, CA. Most fellows work directly at USAID locations in Washington, DC (the Agency’s headquarters) or USAID missions throughout the world. As employees of PHI, fellows are eligible for PHI's executive-level benefits package. (See Overview of Benefits following.) Administrative support for each fellow is provided by fellowship specialists located in the GHFP Washington, DC office or through the program’s university program coordinators.
