Fellowships will be available throughout the year across both a broad spectrum of health disciplines, and a wide range of experience levels. .PHI and its university partners (Harvard University School of Public Health, Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and University of Washington School of Health and Community Medicine) will announce and advertise each fellowship as it becomes available, through an open recruitment effort.
The application process typically takes eight to ten weeks. All materials submitted will be reviewed and candidates who have the most relevant background and experience will be contacted for interviews. All fellowships require candidates to apply through GHFP’s online recruitment system which allows you to store your CV and salary history in our database. When a position is announced that interests you, you would then apply through the online recruitment system for that position, submitting a cover letter which describes how your background and experience relates to the position. A separate cover, relating your skills and experience to the position, is required for each application.
If you are contacted for an interview, you will then be asked to complete the Public Health Institute application form and submit three professional references.
Final candidates are required to undergo a background screening, conducted by a third party, for the following information: education, criminal background, and previous employer verification.
